If you have the need to learn basic Signing there are a couple of apps that I think will help. Currently I have free Signing education games and one paid Signing matching game. The matching game grows in difficulty but you are not required to make words - just recognise and match letters.

Toggler Signing

Learn Signing with this easy to play, harder to master, educational game. There are seven levels with level 1 having an easy  4x4 grid of letters. Swipe letters so at least three are grouped horizontal or vertical. You might also find letters are already grouped - just touch them to score. Score 1 point for each letter removed. Score 50 points to advance to the next stage.

There are 10 stages per level. Each stage increases the odds of a Signing letter appearing. Stage 1 will be all Roman characters. When a match is made the letter will be spoken and that voice is adjustable. To add to the difficulty (or make it a bit easier) you can set vowels to a specific color as well as other letters.

There is a ghost icon in the top-left corner. If you need a hint for the Signing letters just touch that ghost and the Roman letter will appear over the Signing - but just briefly!
